Hey friends! 

Since the last time I wrote my team and I have switched ministry locations. We were in Lushnje, Albania for our first 2 weeks in Albania working with a local church there. About a week ago we transitioned over to Tirana, Albania where we are working with another local church! We’ve absolutely been loving our time here. We have the cutest little guest house, an awesome ministry host and lots to do and explore around Tirana - the capital of Albania!

On one of our first days being here in Tirana my team and I were looking up coffee shops nearby, hoping to head to one that day. We had heard that Albania was known for having the most coffee shops per square mile (?????) (cant remember the exact stat, but it was something kinda ridiculous like that) and we found that to be 100% true as we scrolled through what felt like an endless amount of coffee shop options on Google Maps. During this whole conversation I told my team that I was going to make it my goal to hit 20 different coffee shops while we are here. Later that evening, I let our ministry host in on this and he laughed. He said “20? You could do that in 3 days! If you want to make a goal, you need to go to 40.” I was in some kind of mood that night and I immediately jumped on the challenge. So.. 40 different coffee shops in 30 days it is!! 

We’re a week in and I’ve hit 15. This has been such a fun little adventure to engage in - providing ample opportunity for lots of quality time with my teammates, lots of exploring around the city, lots of cappuccinos, and lots of late nights since caffeine keeps me up…. 

With allllll this being said, a couple of my teammates and I decided to make a mini podcast series talking all about it! Our goal is to make a weekly podcast to just recap our coffee adventures of the week, and we recorded our first one today! I’m posting the link below for you to listen on Spotify, Apple or Anchor!
